Bridal Swag: Detailed Back

.
Who wants to get their sexy back? On the bridal runways there were plenty of gorgeous gowns with sexy back details.  To me, the back can be one of the sexiest part of a woman. I even devoted a whole Pinterest board of backless inspiration. The back can be both sexy and demure at the same time. It entices without being over the top.  So it's no surprise that wedding gown designers have focused on this detail in their collection. Fall in love with your gorgeous back!

Bridal Swag: Blush Tones

The 2014 bridal shows were nothing less than out of the box, with blush tones, crop tops, Gatsby-styles, pants suits and patterned trends for the bride who wants to push the envelope a bit or a lot. The spring collections did not skip color by any means.  The traditional whites and ivories filled the runways, but designers also took to subtle and bold shades like blushes and bright pinks. Stark whites and ivories do not compliment everyone's skin tones, so pale pinks are a pleasant alternative. The shades run from barely there to in your face...a sampling for all types of brides. Is this trend for you?

Designer Crush on Zahavit Tshuba

Just thought I would make you DROOL over these amazing designer gowns from Israeli designer Zahavit Tshuba . I mean, seriously? I could live in one of these gowns. lol.  They evoke elegance, sexiness, confidence and feminity all at once. Even the photo styling is fierce!  Can you guess which is one of my fav? Let's just say I'm a mermaid gown rocking queen! I also love that some of these gowns look like they come in separates to mix and match. The only problem is getting your hands on one of these international beauties. Maybe she will open up a US based store soon. Until then...drool away!

Vera Wang Goes Red

The bridal gown world got quite the shock for the second year in a row from iconic fashion designer Vera Wang. The designer's nude & black colored wedding gowns graced the runway last season - and she has turned it up a notch with bold red dresses dominating the runway this year.

With this new collection, which took the bridal world by storm this past week in the press, the designer pays homage to her heritage. In China, brides wear the color red to reflect love, romance and joy. The color red is also used the day of the wedding in the decorations of the bride & groom's homes, and even in the gift boxes/envelopes given out at the wedding. And although the color may be bold, Vera's subtle elegant details still shine through in the designs.

This new collection of 15 gowns celebrates the color of love and passion. A definite stray from the traditional white and ivory gowns that made her one of the go-to designers for future brides.

Vera says of the new collection, "Beautiful dream. The symbolism of Red. Boldly romantic, charming, protective, grand, seductive, sexy. From dahlia to scarlet, crimson and vermillion. A celebration of love."

"Vera always likes to wow and show a somewhat rebellious, anti-traditionalist approach in her shows, and I think that definitely came through," said Brittany Robins, Bridal Guide's Assistant Fashion & Beauty Editor. "She never ceases to amaze!"
