What is it?: The whoopie pie (alternatively called a gob, black-and-white, bob, or "BFO" for Big Fat Oreo) is an American baked good that may be considered either a cookie, pie, or cake. Why they’re so awesome?: The whoopie pie is an awesome dessert that is taking the place of cupcakes, cake pops and macaroons everywhere! It can be used for favors, place card design and dessert bars for any special event and it is a delicious treat that your guests will not be able to get enough of!
I love how unpretentious they seem to be. Not dainty or perfect in the least, but still super interesting and cool in their own way. The whoopie pie is definitely the hipster in the world of desserts!
